Koenig is currently searching for an Regional Aftermarket Coordinator based out of the dealership's Knightstown, IN location. .
Purpose:
- Facilitates the timely completion of requests for service and parts. Coordinates the flow of information between Sales, Inventory Control, Parts, and Service to provide an accurate view of cost, timing, resources and time required for work. Assists with the scheduling, parts ordering, quoting, and work order administration of related work and monitors work-in-process and outstanding sales orders to free up local personnel to more efficiently serve Customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Fully embrace and utilize systems, and related standards, including John Deere Dealer Path, CDK IntelliDealer, and Koenig Connect, etc.
- Field, schedule, and assign internal requests for Service to include the following:
- Evaluate incoming requests for adequacy of information provided and obtain clarification where needed
- Create work orders to include accurate estimates of start dates, time required, and completion dates
- Coordinate with Parts to source needed parts in advance of work beginning.
- Coordinate with Inventory Control to source needed attachments in advance to work beginning
- Assign appropriate technicians for completion of work based upon direction from Service Managers and Service Writers
- Ensure necessary requests related to delivery have been made and that Trucking requests are released timely
- Monitor service workload for assigned locations and identify opportunities to re-balance workload
- Monitor work in process and open sales and parts orders for assigned locations and engage local personnel in securing assistance to ensure timely completion of aged and/or completed items
- Assist Learning & Development Coordinator and Coordinator of Technician Development in learning path execution for Parts and Service personnel in assigned locations
- Assist with mentoring and coaching of Service Writers and Administrators for assigned locations
- Other duties as assigned by Regional Aftermarket Manager
